No worries — here’s the cheat sheet. Read this before you pull up.
Returning Clients
All you need is a valid photo ID — unless something changed.
If anything changed, bring the following:
Adding a dependent: Birth certificate and Social Security card
Removing a dependent: Let us know during your visit
Changing filing status to Head of Household: Current lease in your name
No documents = we can’t file.
New Clients
You’ll need to bring everything so we can start and finish your return in one visit.
Valid photo ID
Social Security cards (you and all dependents)
All income documents (W-2s, 1099s, business income)
Last year’s tax return (if you have it)
No documents = we can’t file.
Quick reminder
If you didn’t file with us last year, you are considered a new client and must bring full documentation.
